Scrumptious Wedding Favours – By Favours Direct

Q: Can you tell me a bit about what you do?

Favours direct supply wedding and party favours in a range of different styles with a multitude of filling and personalisation options.
Here at favours direct we are convinced we have a favour to suit every style, however if we don’t quite have what the customer wants we can make any favour to match their style.

Q: How long have you been designing different favours for?

Favours Direct was born during the planning stages of our own wedding, we were looking for a specific type of wedding favour and realised a distinct gap in the market,
we designed our own wedding favour then started designing other favour options.

The website went live at the beginning of this year and we add new ranges to our favour options as themes and styles change.

Q: Do you have a particular style that sets you apart from other favour specialists and where do you get your inspiration?

Favours direct have a modern approach with a traditional twist, although some of our favours may be available with other suppliers we are sure the combination of styling, filling and personalising the favours are what sets us apart from the rest, not only that but our favours come ready for the table, we don’t supply flat pack ready to assemble favours, we are here to take the hassle out of wedding favours and have them complete assembled and ready to use.

Favours Direct have at present over 3 million combinations of favours allowing them to be designed to suit the customer perfectly. The first rule in business is you must listen to what
your customers want, although everyone’s style may be different customers generally have a good idea of what they want and the question “do you have anything like….” is usually the first stages in the creation of a new range, but our inspiration is drawn from all over and the understanding everyone has their own interests and a favour is a great way for guests to leave with a little piece of the wedding of their own.

Q: What is your most popular type of favour?

Having recently featured in Unveiled Magazine all of those that were in the feature have become really popular although the traditional organza bag with sugared almonds remains a
favourite, by far our most popular wedding favour is the terracotta plant pot tied with rustic string, this favour looks fresh from the garden and fits with the current trends of outdoor themes. When filled with seeds they can be a great choice for guests to take home and plant a memory from the wedding day.

Q: Are there fashions and trends in favours like there are in other areas of the wedding industry?

Favours tend to match the general theme of the wedding, this can be achieved really well by matching the ribbon/raffia or string to the colour scheme the couple have chosen. At the moment outdoor and sweetshop are the two most popular themes we are creating for, however it’s getting to that time when festive themes start creeping in.

Q: Do you have any special offers on at the moment that we can mention for you?

Favours Direct have just started offering free delivery on all orders, due to the size of the boxes we ship we have to use a specialist courier company and having negotiated a great deal with them we can now offer shipping to our customers for free.

We also offer special offers and discount codes throughout the year and the best way to find out about these is to sign up to our newsletter on our homepage www.favoursdirect.co.uk or liking us on facebook at www.facebook.com/favoursdirect
